Really? I'm only 5'9"-5'10"ish and I feel pretty comfortable flat-footing it. Could be a difference in ride height between yours and mine?
Then again, Tracy sat on it and said it was tough flat-footing it as well. :idk:

the suspension was set really soft from the factory so until the thing would be set for a fatass like me you cant really comment on how it handles
Yeah, I know it's going to need to be tweaked a bit for me too. I'm ~200 and I have to believe it's set for someone ~175ish or less.

but you do notice the steep rake, you feel a direct connection with the front tire that was completly different then the honda or kawi that I had ridden prior.

Yeah, on the CR it made me feel like I was hanging over the front wheel... which is unnerving, especially when braking. The generous upper fairing on the R makes it less noticeable.

The suspension settings in the manual really make a difference. Give them a shot.

Oh, it's not that bad... I just don't usually ride on work weekends.
Not a big fan of having to strap down takeout food... it never turns out well.
Assuming the weather cooperates, I'll be putting some more miles on it before my vacation this week and getting an oil change too.
