tires in general have risen considerably in price. late last year. forget the reason they gave but it wasn't the gulf spill. priced tires for my truck an the guy gave me the whole get 'em now they're going up speech. of course I thought he was just going for pressure sale so I waited. yeah bad idea on that one. LOL paid almost $100 more couple months later.

Hmm I have an extra set I ordered this year for track season, was going to sell thm but knowing this I may hold on to them.
