I like it. Wouldn't buy it...but I like it.

I like solid colors better on the Duc.

It is a nice ride though. It just that I wouldnt be flaunting the parade rider when they've got a fast, talented champ on the team. Even if it is Ducati NA, the people who buy Ducati's arent buying em because of the Kenlucky Kid.

And I still think the plain white 848's are the nicest bikes ever made.

Given a championship huh? Yeah cause nobody else road that year. :wtfru:

Being competitive 1 year of your entire MotoGP career does NOT make you replica worthy.

By virtue of the original post, you would be wrong.

ya, he rode 3rd-5th all season and fell into a championship as most of the field had horriffic seasons marred with mechanical failures, over and over again. I think Rossi had 6dnf's, and was still in contention to beat him at the last race. Nicky hung on for third or fourth after rossi made a mistake and had a championship handed over to him.

One win that year? a few podiums, and a title. And has a hard time to stay int he points since. His best finish of this year, a 5th at one of his favourite home tracks.

EXACTLY!! But that isn't what Im saying, OR why I quoted someone else saying he was GIVEN a championship. And it was prob said by a guy who has never raced a lap in his life. That shit irritates me (as a racer) is all. You win a championship that means by virtue of your performance and the rules (and often luck too) you deserve it. I suppose his other titles mean nothing?

Don't forget he is on a new to him bike, that by all accounts is seemingly hard to get accustomed to for everyone BUT Stoner. Maybe you should ride the bike. I'm sorry but sports fans and their Monday morning quarterback shit really twist my shorts. And more so when done by someone who has never been competitive in the sport on ANY level much less a professional one.
