Ground Anchor and a good solid chain will deter a lot of thieves.. Thats what all the British bike mags always recommend, and bike theft over there is huge.

I had a friend in hollywood, fl do that, rebar into concrete with a solid chain... that didn't stop them.

Also, Rocket had his bike taken while he had a chain through the rear wheel. The assholes took the wheel off and stole the rest of the bike.

Either way, a garage isn't fool-proof either. If someone knows what's in it, they can just wait until you leave and break-in. You're only advantage is the bike is out of view.

Sucks bro... hope you can find your shit before it's stripped!

No truer words have been spoken here today.....if the scum bags want your bike, they'll take it no matter what precautions you take.

I'm on the web all day looking on C/L and eBay, 'll keep an eye out for the goodies.

I got it back last night in once piece thank God. I don't think the guy that was on it was the one that stole it though. He was riding it a half mile from my house in broad daylight.

Thanks again for everyone that was helping me look though...

Now maybe you will repair your garage and invest in a chain. I know that NOTHING will stop a professional thief but these guys were obviously just some punks that observed your habit of leaving your bike on the back of your truck and made a grab for it. You don't secure your bike/valuables against professional thieves, you secure them against amateurs! If you would have had your bike properly locked up in the garage with the steering locked and properly chained,I doubt that these guys could have stolen it. I'm glad that you recovered your bike. If you need any advice on your garage, let me know.
