Honestly I think for the Democrats, they should want her in the election. The republicans are just as tired of that bitch and the right leaning moderates won't vote for that bitch. They would go Obama in a big way. He would coast to victory easily against Palin.

From what I understand most members of the House don't travel home with security unless their is a credible threat against them. The Capitol Police, who provide security for them, said they were aware of no threats against Giffords otherwise they would have sent security with her.
