Anyone from Texas?
My wife's family lives in Austin and San Antonio. We visit a couple of times a year. I've ridden my bike down once from TN, and we piggy backed it the other 2 times.
Would like to ride with some friends the next time we come down to visit. |
Azoomm (she just joined last night) is in the Austin area. :D They've got some beautiful roads out that way...
|
is everything really bigger in texas?
|
Yep, full of steers and queers...LOL
Some of those roads I have a hard time telling if they are paved or gravel while I'm riding. Raises the pucker factor for sure when you're in a corner on the gas and the texture changes. Very nice scenery for sure! |
Hello!
Yes, I'm from Austin. I don't ride much on the street, currently looking for a street-something. But, I would be happy to play host when y'all come down. Steers and Queers... that's Oklahoma :idk: |

Where do you go for track days? Do you have a calender of dates? I would like to plan my next trip so that the wife can do the girl thing with the family and the guys can come check out the track scene with me.
|
I'm from College Station, but now making a home in Huntsville, AL.... so I'm not too far from ya up in Knoxville... we'll have to get together and do some riding....
|
I'm at the Gap about every weekend and you're more than welcome to come hang out.

The trouble with being better than everyone else is that people tend to assume that you're pretentious. |

There are only like 5 decent roads to ride up there. I used to live in Allen. There are a few guys up there that I used to ride with that still ride up there quite a bit, but you are right, all straight and flat... |
