Stoner's 2007 MotoGP bike...
Local dealership has it for a few days so the hubby and I both left work early to check it out. :beers:

Actually, the GP bikes are rather tall. It's very skinny though, with the V4 motor. Like scary skinny.
When I saw it, the shock was mounted underneath the engine on the underside of the bike, nitrogen charged forks, carbon rotors, full 2D data acquisition sensors everywhere, and some carbon parts stamped as far back as 2003, interestingly enough. There's also next to zero adjustability for rider position... these things are custom built around each rider. Parts like clipons, rear sets, etc, appear to be one-offs (as with most of the GP bikes I've seen). |
