Introduction

OK I hate doing these but oh well here it is. I am Jason but my friends just call me Jay or Jaybird, long story. I was turned on to TW Fix by one of my best friends and here I am. I am a loving father to one beautiful 6 year old little girl and I am a proud Freemason. I have been a soldier in the US Army for more than 10 years now. I have severed two tours of duty in Iraq, one in 2003 and another in 2009 - 2010. Where I have been shot twice and blown up once. I only tell you all this now because someone will eventually ask me, they always do. This is the last time I will talk about though, please respect that. In addition to this I have been a part of 13 other mobilizations. I have seen my fill of the brutalities and hatred of men. I am a small arms expert and an expert marksman with the Rifle, Pistol, M203 40mm Grenade Launcher, and Machine Gun (M240 and M249). Great thing about my job is I get to use whatever weapons I want. I am a double major in Psychology and Sociology with a focus in Behavioral Psychology and Counter Terrorism and I will soon be working on my M.A. in Behavioral Sciences. I love anything fast enough to do something stupid in. It doesn't matter if it has two, three, four, or even no wheels. I think that just about covers it.

Welcome

Kco3rdSOG 04-04-2010 05:33 PM

Hell we are all crazy in our own way. I just like to understand what makes people tick. Makes it more interesting when they annoy me because I then I know the best way to screw with their head....lol

You know me better than that, this is about as serious as I will get

Moira, I am running a 1999 Honda VTR 1000F. It is no where near stock anymore. I have put a lot of time, TLC, and upgrades to the electronics and engine. She is a beauty but I need to do a little more work on her to get her running just the way I want. Can't wait to run her on a proper track on day.

Thanks for the welcome

Well if you are who I think you are, Carolina and I went hiking while she was back and mentioned a good friend over there with her that rode and had a beautiful little girl. I'm assuming you are him but I guess I could be wrong.

She said you know your way around a weight room too...

Yeah, that was Jay I was talking about. I talk a lot of shit to him out here, so I think he's a little shocked that I should say anything positive about him.

No worries, Carolina isn't going to leave me alone until I go and trust me I am looking forward to it. I just have to get my hands on some new leathers first.

I have done a little work on her. I gutted the wiring harness after the stock one burned out and replaced it with and aftermarket harness and rectifier as well as replacing the old stator with a higher output one. Changed out most of the lines and have upgraded her to a stage three jet kit. My mechanic and I are working on further upgrades to try and maximize the overall output of the bike. I need to readjust the suspension to my weight and up grade the forks still. Cosmetically I have change my bar ends , after a friend of mine accidentally dropped her, and changed my levers over to carbon fiber. I still need to change a lot of parts over to carbon fiber and get her off to be repainted and she will be done. As far as the performance upgrades go, I will leave that for a surprise. My mechanic is a Honda Guru. Thanks a lot everyone, you know how to make a guy feel welcomed. Also yes that is me in Carolina's photo and yes that is about how I act normally. You would never guess there is a well educated man under all that....lmao. There is no point to life if you can't have fun with it. Just don't bring the dark side out in me, it never turns out well for people. :)
