Every bike is capable of so-called "railing", just depends on the rider.

yeah, my "railing" is much different than "railing" the cbarrr. I am much slower on the GS, but it's more fun.

I wonder if you could mount the head sliders from the hp2 sport?

It's scary shit leaning over on a tall bike like that

I always felt like I was gonna tip over. Must take some serious getting used to.

leaning it never really bothered me. It was finding a body position that was comfortable to lean it that took me the most getting use too. Oh the braking on it is fucking weird too. The telelever system makes it squat instead of front end dive.

Particle Man 10-03-2010 08:58 PM

Yeah that telelever screws with my head

one thing I was gonna ask ya trip, when you're dragg'n knee is it a natural position or you hanging off just to get a knee down?

It's sportbike natural, it's not GS natural. I probably can ride just as fast or faster not doing it. It doesn't feel retarded coming from a sportbike, but it's just not necessary.

This thread is worthless without pics.

here's the one from my facebook. I pretty much figured out where I need my knee so i don't bang the engine guard, so that's a plus of knee dragging on the GS.

wonder what the HD guys think when they see you coming around the corner knee on the ground

I tend to surprise tourist sportbikers more than HD people. I had a guy try to chase me and then when he got to the store he was mystified by not catching me. The HD people are usually in too much of a death grip mode to care.

Mr Lefty 10-03-2010 11:14 PM

 I bet.

though I would never expect to catch a local on any road... :idk:

then again... I'm slow
