back to the scene of the crime
5 Attachment(s)
Thought I'd share a couple of track pix with the bike back together. Was a bit shy with the throttle at first, I think due to the fact that I had a getoff at this track the last time I was there, but started feeling better towards the end of the day. Had a lot fun even tho it was close to 100!

Well done!
Now, go support those trackside photogs and buy the pictures ;) |
Awesome pics dude.
And the bike came back together really nicely  In that 5th photo it looks like you're kicking up a lot of sand... did the wind blow it all over the track or something? Looks scary as shit spread all over the place there. |

It looks like sand to me to! |
Thanks dudes!
Yeah, I'm pretty sure thats some dirt (not smoke)that was pushed on there causing a "slight" loss of traction. I'm nowhere near the point were I'm spinning the rear on exit. I would prob crap out "hersheys kisses" from the puckering/crapping I would be doing. What happened was...Earlier in the day, some idiot went off the track and decided it was a good idea to enter right at the apex. When he entered the track, he brought with him a pile of dirt and postponed the session for 15min or so until they could clean up the mess. They did make him help with the clean up. :zowned: |
you would be surprised, im prolly not nearly as fast as you and can spin the tires coming out of corners on a hard controlled throttle

Think that's where dirt riding experience really comes in handy. |
yeah, i agree, i used to race xcountry style on my old quad, i think it helps out alot, but also can give you alot of bad habits that you have to work on to get rid of

yeah, im still in my own world were everyone has 80 fp trq
|
My bike did it a few times at the gap... Dirt riding really helps cope with the stepout. Even though it was slight I didnt chop the gas or it would have tossed me off a freaking mountain for sure! Just grim and hold it. But when your corner speed is 10 mph slower than the guys your chasing and you have a liter inline 4 that loves the straights A LOT then you try to play catch up with the exit...
Man I want to run Drewpy down on the track! And yes Im no pro, and Yes I do suck... |
im slow, wouldnt take much
