We need a logo!
 

It's got to be something we can adapt easy into an Adobe Illustrator one color vector file so it can be made into vinyl stickers. We also what to be able to take it to regular photoshop and make it a little detailed and will print on a t-shirt well. I want to see what you guys can come up with, if you know a photoshop guru that is also a rider, invite him/her to the site. Or recruit one and we can turn him/her into a rider. :diitb:

what sort of stuff are you lookin for as far as logos go?

its much easier to have an idea in mind instead of trying to think one up on the fly. how bout a poll

Mainly what we need is a good font logo that we can use one color on and a very simple designs to go with it. Have you ever used illustrator? It's a totally different world than photoshop. It's all vector based drawing.

I suck at that sort of stuff...I took a graphic design class in college and I barely passed. :lol:

photoshop uses vectors for drawing. im very familiar. i just dont know if you can import vectors from PS to Ilustrator.

photoshop's vector stuff sucks. It would have to be something I could replicate in illustrator if we used a photoshop file if you don't have illustrator.

true, PS's vector abilities are weak.

Once you figure out a design, i have a decal guy who will give us a great deal on decals. He can do simple one color decals or if needed, digital print decals.

Don't know about that one, don't really like the font and the moon image doesn't really go.

well that was 15 minutes and a couple shots of vodka to help ease the headache adobe illustrator gives me.

Imma go back to the drawing board, and maybe learn how to use the program properly.

Nah, keep it simple. I got an idea, how about making the site look more like an excel spreadsheet or something, that way, I look like I'm working when I'm at work.

I really like that font Ambly, I say we go with that for the vinyl stickers. We can take that font and apply it to the logo above if you give it to NtS. And now we can focus on a t-shirt logo.

We can always add that later, I like the simple clean font vinyl stickers, makes for good racing stickers.

That's all for the t-shirt design, I wanted to keep it one color and very simple for vinyl stickers. That way I can get multiple colors made at a cheaper cost.

Alright, was kickin' around some ideas @ Work..... Background w/ a bit of two lane road action going on, "TwoWheelFix.Com" superimposed on top of that, just two color so you can still get your vinyl stuff....

maybe switch out the "O" in COM w/ a full face helmet....

or just put "twowheelfix" as a strikethrough on a B+W version of the bike in the logo up there that's detail was toned down.

I think the E's into wheel's would be a bit too much, and on top of that would look like "o's"... not feelin' that too much.


The Fix as a strikethrough. I'm liking that idea... might be easy to come thru with too..... Logo might be a bit big due to the length.....

As far as stickers, the sign way is a definite no in my book. Looks way too much like a DGMR sticker. For a shirt if you add some color it could be something to work with.

Make the twisty sign into a road and it's totally different.

Can't we just gather the nominations here, give it a month or so of people coming up with ideas. Then have a private poll to pick the best one for our logo. That way people can submit multiple ideas and the more options we have the more satisfied everyone will be.

Yeah thats the point of this thread is the logo is still a work in progress. It's for people to post ideas and then others can build off the good and toss out the bad. I am not trying to offend anyone by saying yes to that or no to that, it's just I want to get something original and something most everybody likes.
