I don't do it when I am out in the "twisties" (I call them "twisties" because I am still a beginner :lol:) but when I am cruising to work or running an errand I tend to sing...a lot...:lol:

Only when I am incredibly bored. I like riding twisties with a mp3 player going. Helps me get focused.

Sometimes. I don't ride with my Ipod, so when Im bored I will.

I sing along with the ipod. I use the ipod on longer, boring trips. Don't wear it in the twisties

yeah I sing when I am going on straight roads. i like to listen to things like rammstein and metallica while riding.

did you find some good noise canceling ones or not?

I just use regular headphones. I never noticed the wind overpowering the music.

BTW - I might add...I do not have any sort of music player that I listen to...I just sign random songs I have in my head. :lol:

Yeah I do from time to time to keep me calm and level headed! But then once i catch a good line and realy get into it the song fades out!

COOOOOOOLD BLOOOOOODED.

I laugh a lot. Like, last summer, I was riding at around 150mph over this long straight, but bumpy road. Not little bumps, but like little swells. I was laughing because I felt my front end getting light over each crest and I was chuckling because I realized how close I was to probably killing myself, but I couldn't stop. It was too much fun.

I picked up some tight Sony ones for like 30 bucks. They're not your traditional buds. This pic isn't mine and it's pretty gross that you can see dirt on 'em, but these are the ones I have. Sound quality is awesome. I don't exaggerate either.

I've got some Phillips ($30) that I like, but they don't fit well under my helmet.

I tried using my ipod while riding once. I didn't like it too much. I felt like my equilibrium was off because I had something in my ears and I couldn't hear my engine the way I'm use to hearing it. Never again.

I'm gonna start wearing ear plugs more often. I just read an article in one of the mags about the dB of wind noise alone. At 100mph the wind noise can be the equivalent of a chain saw.

Plus, I've got inner ear problems.

No thanks on the Chatterbox. Maybe someday cruising across country, but no the way I ride now.

The cool thing about chatterbox is that you can intercept and/or become part of some jackass driving down the road's cell phone conversation... happened to a guy I was riding with a while ago... it was funny, he started talking shit to the guy...

I get some interference, but not a lot.
I love the fact that my friends and I can chat with each other when were riding long distances.
As long as were within 2 miles or so, depending on where we are riding.

Yeah, this guy said it had never happened to him before, but we were riding behind some slow ass car through the twisties, so it was perfect...

It'd be cool using a chatterbox on the track. talking mad shit to your buddies.

I hear the track isn't really the place for it, but who knows.

ME TOO! Lately it"s been "cold" by crossfade. Btw if anyone is interested, I have several links for in helmet speaker systems ranging from cheap to Bose quality. I've tried a couple and some definitely crank out the tunes,dude! plus,most have inline volume control designed for use with gloves.

That gave me an idea.

How much that shit cost?

I don't want a music player, just something that I can use to talk with the hubs.

I tried looking into the Chatterbox thing but it was really confusing. They have tons of different systems but they all looked like they were for only one person...does that mean I would have to buy a second set? :willy:

If I could get something for under $200 I would seriously consider it. But I would want someone with first hand experience to tell me what they liked/did not like about it. :beers:

Hey FYI Akuma helmets sells helmets that have a bluetooth headset built in for those who wish to listen to music or talk on the phone while riding. Just FYI.

just FYI...I also don't listen to music although I do run my radar detector to my helmet.
