How come the Terminator bikes have regular guns instead of phased plasma lasers in the 40-megawatt range?

they can't take complex machinery back in time (which is why they always come back naked). I'm guessing those bikes were built during current times.

My understanding is that they are ignoring the abomination of T3, but using the sarah connor chronicals as a backstory. This one takes place after judgement day, but before Connor became the leader of the resistance. It is supposed to show his rise to the leadership of the resistance, and how they first got organized instead of just being hunted and used for experiments.

And yes the clip above shows him in full on batman voice mode.

Damn. Now I have to watch the Sarrah Conner stuff to understand. Looks cool though.
