My attempt at fixing the lower fairing on a K7 1000
What do you guys think of the extension. It is a 1 piece steel belly pan that is mounted under the shifter and rear brake. i coated it with temperature resistant paint.

might be too long, IMO.

Didn't look bad without it either.

For some reason, I like the before pic better:idk:
|
i like it... though it'd look 100000x better if it was gloss like the rest of your fairings...
|
I actually liked it before better
|
I'm not sure but I definitely agree that it would look better if it was gloss black.
|
I think it looks good. maybe like the have said about glossy paint...
did you work the suspension through the range to make sure it wasn't going to hit/rub anywhere? |
Well i personally feel it looks a bit odd. I mean it looks good but it has a little something wrong with it i am unable to pin point. I'll try to shorten it a bit an see how it looks. Right now the fit is perfect and i get about 1 1/2 to 2" clearance from the chain when i/m on the bike
|
looks good, just a smidge long tho, and needs to be color matched so it blends and flows. the before aka stock looks like some1 4got to put the belly pan back on lol. looks weird

yeah the "before" shot looked like it was missing something, so i think it looks better now, maybe a tad shorther:idk: |
