I've got a friend that does that shit all of the time. Said 50 is the best speed, because at 60 the wind tries to pull you off the back. He rides in shorts and a t-shirt after his wreck and having skin grafts down his left side. He is a great rider through the twisties though.

Well... i think i have some unfortunate news. I dont know the complete details of what went down, so dont quote me on this....

Apparently a night ago he was out with some friends, hanging down the street from his house. For some reason unknown to me (maybe he had been drinking???) he let his friend ride the bike down the neighborhood to his house. Well, said friend hit a speed bump and dumped the clutch on a down shift..... and sent the bike flying end over end.

Bike is totalled, every fairing is done, bent swingarm, fucked up bars and sprockets. AND to make everything worse.... his insurance had lapsed without payment. So the friend has to pay for the bike. He says he wants to fix it.... i say at this point the bike is fucked and just buy the loan out...... :bash:

I don't know how old you are and I'm not trying to preach, but most of the guys I used to ride with that pulled this kind of shit regularly are dead.

Again, not preaching because I've done my share of stupid shit, but I've also been to my share of funerals over the years.
