Post up your GPS mounts

What are you all doing for mounting your GPS units? I've looked and I just don't see anything yet that I like for mounting mine so I am thinking something custom/home made.

I've got a pretty sweet set up.. I'll take a pic tonight and post it up tomorrow

Sweet. I was beginning to think that no one had 'em. :D I've looked at the ball mounts, and I just don't see anywhere to put something like that. ;)

i recently aquired a tomtom unit and my fist thought was that i could zip strip it to my triple clamp

That's what I have; the TomTom One. I love it for what it is and it sure as hell gets me where I am going. I really found out how usefull it was the first time that I had to go to Atlanta for Hyundai training. Dayyyyyyyuuuuuuummmmmmmm is that place screwy to a hillbilly like me! I made it where I was going with no problems what so ever and never missed an exit. ;)

i only did some casual searching last night but i found a vent mount that comes with a detachable clip that ought to work the way i want with some slight modification

Ram Mounts are definitely the way to go with GPS units... I forgot my camera at home.. Will get the pics up tomorrow
