Had a rather interesting/disturbing turn of events last night.

guy comes into the er with penile pain, yes it goes way down hill from there. He frist had a phimosis ( when the foreskin cannot be pulled back) that was kinda taken care of. He then developed a paraphimosis (foreskin is pulled back and cannot be retracted) this is one of the 2 or 3 true urological emergencies.

This guy either had better things to do or figured the ER would be swamped with people who arent sick and dont need to be there, and waited a few weeks. Rolls in last night and says a piece of it if falling off and is being held on by a vein (apparently a ghetto thing as any stringy thing is a vein)

what happened is it started becomming necrotic and was stiull held on by the urethra.

So we had urology show up, said its too late to do anything now and cut it off and put it in a jar. Probably the most brutal snip I ever saw, and now 2 inches of this guys package is in a plastic specimen cup. I wanted to save it for the idiots who roll in at 5 am withtheir umpteenth STD, tell em keep it up and your shit will fall off. lol

Damn. I don't even plan on getting laid at work today. But I'm still gonna wear a condom.
