I dance for enjoyment. I don't have to have a partner to dance with. 
I don't drink much alcohol when I dance either. I have but only when I have a designated idiot...err...driver  and someone I trust...and I don't trust but a couple of people. |
I've never had an affinity for dancing.
I'm too self conscious, and unfortunately, drinking enough to lose the inhibitions doesn't really make me any better at it.
I'd like to think I can make up for that in other areas, but it seems a good many women expect you to do one to prove you can do the other.
