Just change the muffler bearings from steel to ceramic. The will normally do the trick. There is also a sound card in your ECU. You can just purchase a new one from Morotrcycles Unlimited (ask for Brandon) to adjust the volume as well.
Although changing the bearings is a bit more work, it is a much cheaper fix.
