Nah but I doubt it's a guarantee either... If one side argues that it ALWAYS happens and the other argues that it never happens (extreme cases), they are usually both wrong. Your POV seemed to be that it is almost inevitable that if you go to prison you will be raped. Not only that, but you contend that the system actually condones and uses this type of behavior as "punishment" and a deterrent for breaking the rules. I find that hard to believe considering the level of surveillance. I am also having a hard time with the notion that prisoners are showing up in the infirmary with torn anuses and stories of the "guard stood by and let them rape me" without any action being taken. Guards get fired from prisons for shoving inmates and calling them names these days.

I'm sure that it does happen, I just doubt that it happens all the time or that the "system" is orchestrating the situation. Heck, they won't just stand by and let them fight, why would they allow rape? As a guard, I'd rather watch two guys fight it out than....
