The back way out of Old Fort over to Hwy 9 is fun. Hwy 9 itself has decent parts as well. There is plenty of other decent roads as well. The Chimney Rock/Lake Lure area is a nice. Main street is a tourist trap linking the two though...cool to see but the traffic can suck.

All this is in my backyard, I'm 20 miles from Lake Lure/ Chimney Rock, i guarantee I could show yall some nice scenic roads to ride....
