Not just the Navy and Marines, but the Army also has a training program. From the Denver Post: "The Army, which also has a training program, lost 36 soldiers in sport-bike accidents in the same time period (as the Navy and Marine study). Cornering and braking can be taught. As for the excessive speed thing, I'm still trying to learn that myself.
