How are they getting in? Also what is the reason they are coming in? any small pets or possibly a rodent problem?

Exactly. You have a rodent problem, not a snake problem. Snakes DO NOT want to be near people... They go where the food is... And they eat rodents. Get rid of the mice and the snakes will go...

Yeah, you've gotta eliminate their food source to be rid of them.
Oh yeah, and snakes are your friends! hey, if not for them, you'd be posting up about the rat problem you'd be having. |
