Default Tigger, Question about exaust location

I saw this in the thread about the new Rossi edition R1. The first thought in my mind was great place to put an exaust, the second thought I had was if the exaust location was possibly heating up the right side of the tire and brake at all?

Reason I as is that I had a car that had the exaust in front of the left rear tire, and that tire wore down 3x as fast as the rest of the tires.

Talk about fucking loud! It reminds me of my V-Max after I put Cobra slip-ons on it. Almost like a V-8.

Interesting question... I don't know but I would surmise that it doesn't since the swing arm is solid there if I'm not mistaken which would block most of the heat IMHO. I'll ask him though...

BTW just noticed, is he scraping exhaust when hitting hard right-handers? Or is that just cosmetic from previous owner/bike?

He takes it to the track but I'm not sure what the scrapes are from. I was guessing that maybe it stuck out more previously... We're riding this weekend, so I'll find out. It doesn't look possible from where I sit but maybe...

It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

Nah, that must be a weird reflection or something. This guy also has a 1098 and a track bike.

Based on the size of the chicken strips on that rear tire, I don't think he's scraping anything.

Unless he has horrible body position and rides it like a dirt bike instead of hanging off.
