they dropped the case
Found out they dropped the malpractice case they had against me and one of the docs, turns out they settled for hardly anything. Fucking bullshit case anyway, but its one less thing for me to worry about so i am happy.

As much as I would like to it wouldnt happen since were not a level 1 trauma center. We are a stroke center and have a 24 hr theraputic/diagnostic cath lab. We get all the bad medical stuff but the shootings, stabbiongs and beatdowns go over to kings county

Well that's good to hear. I hate it when I hear that people who file bullshit cases get a settlement though. I understand that it's cheaper to settle but if they fought harder, there would be a lot fewer get-rich-quick cases out there.

That was our thing, it was BS that they got anything at least it wasnt the huge payout they were looking for. Where I work its like the ghetto lottery for them. Its like look for something to go wrong then find a shady lawyer.

wow, glad that's over for you. i remember you hinting at something like that but didn't know it was actually going to be a case.
glad it ended as well as it did. settlements suck but anyone remember snapper lawn mowers? that's what happens when you fight the law suits. they never took the settlement out of court route. fought every battle. lost one and out they went. for business it is far cheaper and less risky to just pay the whiners their money. |
