Calling SV experts
So it looks like I am going to pick up a 2000 SV 650 this weekend. Anything in particular I should be looking for (other than the normal stuff)?
Common problems? Doubtful I will ever ride it on the street, as I am buying it as a track bike.

Everyone I know that has one also use them for track bikes and beat them to death. They crash well and just don't die...

Wheels. You want the bike to have wheels, and an engine, that would help too

Check, and check. I will check for a seat and bars also.

You are correct. A chain is also crucial in transferring the engine power to those wheels.

if you need any spares let me know...i have a few left in my garage. rear wheel, complete front end (has a leaky fork seal), full harness and ecu. these are all from an 02, so the forks are adjustable. shouldn't have a problem using any of them. and if there is anything else let me know and i can check to see what i have.
good luck
