Naked in America
Haha, sorry... not what you guys were thinking. Get your minds out of the gutter. This is a spin off of Lee's thread
So, are naked/bikini faired bikes rising in popularity in America??? I know in Europe, naked bikes are vastly more popular than here. But in recent years, manufacturers have been coming out with more and more nakeds. This thing interests me enough to be my next bike....

From experience, cleaning/detailing one is a bitch. Especially with hard water.

Soft rag for the normal parts with quality car soap, Simple Green sprayed all over the naked bits, then rinsed clean with hose FTW. After my final rinse, I take the leaf blower to the bike and blow dry it. Clean and lube the chain and some spray polish on the painted parts and she's ready to go. I've always liked the nekkid bikes. That's why I bought the SV. I split the difference with the half fairing for wind protection.
