rf-1000 vs x-11
Needing a new lid, cyclegear has 10% off right now which is about best I can find for the x-11.
Is the x-11 really $200 better then the rf? Fit was great, and read great reviews but thought I would ask here. thnx |

I've had both, I currently have the X11 now. The RF fit me good when it was new but when it got broke in, it was a little too big, so I figured I'd try to find a X11 for cheap in a size medium. I lucked out and found one on Ebay for $480, used but in excellent condition. I posted up on the WERA forums if anybody could get them cheap and the cheapest I found new was around $530 or so. Not too bad for a Kagayama replica.
The vents do work a bit better and at high speeds the helmet is stable as fuck, like when I come out a tuck from a straightaway to brake. Aren't they made of different materials though?
