Default Hmmmmm......

So I've noticed that ever since the "upgrade" at CF, my Spam folder for my e-mail has basically doubled in count for messages I get per day. Also, it seems most of the message subjects and senders are in all caps.

Is this happening to anyone else or is this just a coincidence?

I haven't noticed anything but they could be filtered by my ISP

I get notifications of new posts on 'subscribed' threads all the time. I've only posted 2 or 3 times since the 'upgrade', and it not only auto-subscribed me to THOSE threads, but it created subscriptions for every thread I've posted in on that site for the last 4 years.

Mine isn't in Caps but I am getting them. I have tried a few times to stop them. I'm also getting emails from other motorcycle boards that I was a part of asking me to come back. Turns out that they are in the group of sites that were bought out.

No, I haven't noticed anything like that. My daily spam went up hugely when my ISP handed the email service off to Yahoo though, so I wouldn't necessarily notice.

I got 4 "we miss you and want you back" emails today from VS sites. I block them and they keep coming back...

I haven't had any of these problems... still seem to be only subscribed without e-mail notification, and don't see an increase in spam. Maybe they just like you.

I wasn't talking about board-generated e-mails, just spam in general. The volume has increased dramatically. Guess it's just a coincidence.
