Default Are the newest attacks of on MC/Paypal/ etc. considered acts of terror?

just as the title says, is what that other /b/oard doing considered act of terrorism?

i say no, my s/ father is up in arms spouting on about how bad it is and that they are terrorists

I'm sure it has brought up a good debate in government policing meetings. I'm sure they would like to classify it as a terrorist act so more money can be poured into another project.

IMO, since there is no violence, then there should be no terrorism.

Some [those with a real flair for hyperbole] might suggest this rises to the level of "terrorism", but I'd be willing to bet that the perpetrators probably would prefer to characterize their efforts as a "protest". Since it appears they didn't really shut anyone down, and just affected things a bit, I'd say the net affect was actually closer in fact to the latter.
