Default Good save

looks like I am the hero down at the Bronx construction site for now.

Saw a guy last week with a new onset of crushing chest pain and shortness of breath. All in all he just didnt look well. had the safety guys call EMS right away. Got a history and a quick assessment. gave him some aspiriin and sub lingual nitro ( I was concerned he was having a heart attack)

EMS arrived did some more work on him and transported him to the ER. I dont have all the details yet but apparently he was admitted, and the doc told him that he was very close to a full cardiac arrest and that the meds I gave him may have saved his life.

Hes out of the hospital and was back at the jobsite to take care of some stuff yesterday, and told the PA there he def needed to see me to thank me for helping him. I didn trealy know him that well but the guys say hes a prety friendly upbeat guy, and he was def terrified when he came up to see me that day.

guess its kinda strange being thanked for helping someone as opposed to being cursed out or getting hte usual crap from the ghetto lowifes I see in the ER. Def made my day knowing hes going to be ok, and that all the guys at the jobsite did the right thing in making sure we took care of him.

Must be nice to be able to say you saved someone's life. Especially dealing with the crap you deal with on a regular basis.

Awesome!

Now wait for the lawsuit, when he dies 30 years from now, and his family blames the medication you gave him.
