Default DIY GPS tracker

Well I think I'm gonna attempt this one since its the cheapest "instant" tracker. A lot better than guessing were your bike was taken to.

You text the prepaid phone and it text back to you all the info. You just have to get pay cards for the texting but thats a small price to pay when you get a chance to bust down the door to the chop shop and cap everyone.

Just would need to volt reg it to hook up to the moto battery.

That's interesting, but isn't there another/easier way? I just think that's kind of.......complex in a way. I guess it really isn't, if you consider that it texts to your cell and gives you coordinates. You then have to use a PC to get the location of those coordinates though, correct?

About the cheapest "instant" receiver was $500.

I wish I could find a DIY that would let me use a program to track instantly.
