Aren't all state employers supposed to have their pay available to the public? I know that at my university I was able to see how much all of the teachers/coaches were being paid because it was a state funded school.

yup mine is too... just look up military pay E-5 with 6 years in...

never really saw the big fuss about protecting how much you made... unless you knew you weren't worth that and were afraid they'd correct the error
