Starbucks customers are blogging a hissy fit as we speak.
Expect an uprising from every coffee shop...in the form of a t-shirt and an overall desire to share the idea that someone should do something about that sort of thing or maybe even complain about it on facebook or maybe just "like" someone elses complaint |

Are illegal downloads from Starbucks really that big of a concern? More like it's just hyped up so that they can make us pay higher monthly bills? |

Its not that, the industry is making it easier to shut down any IP that is accused of pirating which means that if someone pirates using a public hotspot the whole network could end up being shut down by the telcos. Which just happens to help Verizons bottom line because people who were relying on free wifi might now be forced to pay for a wireless data plan.
