H.I.D. System $25!!!
DDM tuning has lowered their prices to $25 for the single bulb system! That's with the slim-all digital ballast, and everything you need to install it. There has been a lot of discussion on the merit of HIDs in the past on this forum. FWIW DDM claims a 6 amp draw on start up and 3.4amp during operation. All I can say is that I love my HIDs and I wouldn't go back to normal bulbs! I just ordered a kit for my girl's bike!

I would like to know how long those hold up, because if they were quality parts I don't see how they could sell them for so low.

Well, let me put it like this... I've had mine for over 3 years. They work perfectly and I've had zero problems with them. On the other hand I bought a set a Sylanvia Ultra White bulbs, which were about $30 each and they lasted about, 3 months (no bs). Autozone gave me a new set but it still sucked! FWIW DDM warranties this system for life.

Does it have the standard bulb on it for the high beam then?
How long for the sale? Or is this the new permanant price? |

Also, do you think there would be any problem if I ran a dual setup for my spots, and a single on the headlight? I hate when fog lights don't match headlights. |

NICE! FWIW... I've had DDM HID kits on both of my bikes... the H4 Hi/Lo kit on my ZZR 35w... and 55w H7 kit on my 600RR. both worked awesomly.
gonna order a single H4 Hi/Lo 35w for the DRZ... they've got lifetime warranties... so no worries. |

Would you recommend the 55W for my 04 CBR 1000?

honestly... my ZZR's were way brighter
but then again... my ZZR had two headlights on at all times... but Trip's 06 RR had 35's and my 08 had 55's.... wasn't noticeable to me... but it's only $7 I think... so who knows. I'm going with the 35w on my DRZ... to help save me some power as the stock stator is WEAK. |
