Theres a good reason it wasnt ridden enough. the owner wants to keep it running as long as possible without having to convert to carbs. Those bikes initially came with fuel injection on them, and if the ECU for that died, that was it. you had to get carbs and there was no fixing the ECU.

Hahaha! I couldn't resist! The guy's ad says "why buy a GSXR, 'Busa, etc" but he's willing to talk trade for a GSXR....

I had a 1980 KZ1000 Z1 classic with mechanical fuel injection. Believe it or not, ECMs are not too hard to come by.

GPz1100's are a bit different. but most people just do the carb conversion because they're 100% easier to fix.

the issue I find with bikes like this is that certain people hoard parts for them. I found an ECM for my Z from a guy who had 6 of them. Probably paid $10 for them and sold them for $150 each.
