What happened?

I can't see anything but the aftermath.

I wasn't there...but he is OK I guess. Nothing broke, but he was unconsious was a good 5 seconds.

He said he just blacked out and then ran into the side of the mountain. Not sure why...

Blacked out? How does he figure?

He passed that other guy less than 2 seconds before he needed to enter the turn........Which caused him to run wide (either because he wasn't mentally prepared to enter it/commit to it, or because he slid on the center stripe).

Yeah...I was just talking to my other buddy on the phone and watching this a few times and now I'm callin bs on the black out thing. I think he passed the bike up and was spooked by the oncoming car. That corner doesn't look too tight in the video, but it is when ur clocking 75mph. We'll do 75mph around it and you need to have the line to the outside or you will run wide when you try to make the turn. He was too far inside.

So after the crash was he lights out? Any head trauma or concussion could cause short term memory loss that he may think he blacked out. He probably just doesn't remember...

My brother had an unfortunate incident while involved in a golf cart race, where the back of his head ended up meeting asphalt. He was out for a couple seconds. He was rushed to the hospital. He had a concussion and was puking everywhere. Still to this day he doesn't remember the accident happening, he can only remember about to ten seconds before the accident.

Yep, he didn't "black out" before the crash, but he'll probably never remember it either. Pretty typical after any traumatic crash or a night of hogging after drinking too much.
