How many miles do you get on your tires?
I just ride street, last set was Pirelli Diablo Corsa III's, got about 2,000 on the rear(almost bald from side to side) bout 2,300 on the front
set before those were Pirelli Diablos, got about the same out of them this bike destroys rear tires for sure

Got 3K out of each of my rear Corsa III's. 6K out of the front.
Hope to get 5-6 out of the set of PP's now, but I liked the feel of the Corsa's better. Got 11K out of the stockers on the SV... but they sucked all around. Now comonboys put Roads on it, should last another 11K. |

The corsa IIIs are pretty soft, I get less miles on them on a 600 over the PPs. Usually around 4k or so, compared to 5-6k with my PPs. I wear both tires pretty evenly, so I usually replace both at the same time. I usually wear the sides faster than the middle. Especially the lefts.

Big torque and wheelies are hard on rear tires.

The last set I got about 7000 out of, but the wear bands were showing bad when I changed them (Continental Conti-Forces) The current set has about 4000 and they're about half done (Maxxis Supermaxx). I commute and day ride. I don't ride agressive, stunt, or do trackdays so I'm able to be more conservative on my tires.
For the record, I didn't like the Conti-Forces...they sucked ass. The Supermaxx's are a dream compared to them. Next month or so I'll be putting Road Attacks on her. I can't wait!

I use Michelin Pilot Roads. I can average 11,000 out of a set with the touring that I do.
Not too bad if I say so myself!

So anyway, I average about 4500 out of Sport Tour tires and about 3000 out of sport tires, but it really depends on where and how hard I ride them. Just street riding I've gotten as much as 6K out of a set and as few as 700. Actually the cords were showing through at 735 miles on a front. I guess I was a little too hard on it. |

Any of you ever run the Shinko's?? I had them on my Kat when I first got it and I got around 2500 out of them and the PO said he had got somewhere around 2 on it already. I thougth that was pretty good. I ended up buying another set and I thought they did really well for the type riding that I do, and seemed to heat up fairly quick.
I was just looking at Bike Bandit and I could get a complete set for $170. I think that's awesome as if I were to bust one or what have you, I wouldn't be out much money and I could afford to have two sets of tires a year and still get more mileage than what most get at the same price for one set. I'm not a track rider and I don't totaly eat up the twisties, but I do need something to handle pretty well and I thought that these did. http://www.bikebandit.com/product/13854
