Yeah I was considering the book, the first one sounds good, then I read the wiki for the next two and they sound like the series dissolves into shit. So I lost interest.

Because isn't the author the Twilight author?

Also because it's targeted at pre-teens and teens, so there you go. They'll eat up anything that's made for them.

I assumed it was for kids when my teenage daughters wanted to see it. I immediately had no interest in it whatsoever.

It's got an interesting running man type plot to it, just doesn't look like it was developed beyond teenage girl level.
