Talking about/worrying about chicken strips is lame. Focus on your riding instead of your tires.

I check my tires every time I ride. Not the strips but their condition. Pressures and what I may have run over. No one I have ever ridden with has ever said a word about unused rubber on the sides of my tires, but many have complimented me on being smooth.
Lack of strips may mean your doing it right, but also lack of may mean your doing it wrong! BTW I have fallen in love with this smiley and will be including it in all future posts
