The only scarf a guy should wear is silk and either in white or his squadrons colors...

I've been known to wear a fleece neck roll when I play on the ice. More because a steel screw to the neck hurts like hell. But it is a Yamaha one with a checker flag on it.

I have also worn them around my neck and under my coat when dress up for a winter wedding but never flaping out in the breeze with a big knot. The way a 5 year old wears them. If you got enough style you can pull off about anything you just gotta have brains enough to know the time and place.
