Default New SV for me?

Found this bike on another forum....thinking it's a good dealhttp://forum.svrider.com/showthread.php?t=82691

Also this is what he said in response to my questions.....
"i will take the pics for you and it is a clean title i have in hand, the service was done right before i got the bike in may this year but the oil will need changing and if you get it i will have it changed before it is sold to anyone. if you would like the service records i can get them from the old owner."

He still hasn't said if it's been down.

Good deal?

Stupid job's preventing me from just leaving today to get it.

Looks pretty good... and if it has been down, odds are the damage is not very bad... Where is Omaha in relation to you? Perhaps you and Drewpy should road trip it this weekend.

$3500 for a 17000 mile bike is high....if you can wait a couple of weeks, you'll see the selection of low-milage SV's go up and the prices drop, as students realize that they need money for school and stuff, not a payment and insurance they cannot afford.

But then, what do I know?

There's a guy on SVRider that has 150,000+ miles on his SV and it's still going strong. If you take care of them, they're solid bikes. I'm in Omaha, I'd gladly go take a look and take lots of pictures, if you wanted to know more about the bike. Let me know.

I'm waiting to hear back from him about pics and damage. But that would be amazing if you are willing to do it. I think it's a pretty good deal considering the market. I'd really appreciate it if you could take a look at it cause I've asked twice about damage and he's left that answer out both times.

But

Havent looked into what its worth, but she looks in great shape and if he can provide all service records, she looks to be a very well cared for bike!

Im partial to the color too, looks AWESOME!!

But as usual, OTB is right on the money!!

I'm looking at two newer SVs right now, an 05 with 5200 miles for 3200, and an 04 with 8000 for 2800; markets might be different, but the prices will really start to plunge over the next few weeks.
