New Gilles Chain Adjusters
Well, as some may know, I broke a chain adjuster last season. I cobbled it back together and it worked fine but I was thinking about replacing it anyway. I emailed Gilles about the failure and they imediately offerred to replace them with their new adjusters. Here are some crappy phone pics....
Old Side by side comparison New ones installed, Yay! |

Ok, so you have the GP stand holders, but you use regular spools

Yea I guess you're right... Okay, I took the bike off the old spool stand and put it on the GP stand.

It is more dummy proof than a regular stand.
It is less "in the way." Depending on the bike you may be less likely to scratch the swingarm while using the stand.

OK
Next question, what is the purpose of axle sliders when you already have spool sliders? |

I guess I could have thrown the spools away once I got the lifters but I thought that they looked better than holes, so I left them in. They don't serve a "purpose" really, I just like them. Heck, I have crash sliders that go on the chain adjusters as well... FWIW this bike has been down 4 times and has only sustained cosmetic/body damage, while I replace $20 worth of slider knobs/ends. Gosh, I'm glad that I haven't installed the engine case sliders yet. I'll make sure that I don't post any pics of those on here.
