Motorcycle accident, police researching an 'object' appearing in roadways July 31, 2008 - 9:50PM PORTAGE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Portage Police responded to the scene of a motorcycle accident on the 6300 block of Angling road where a 33-year-old man from Kalamazoo had suffered head-injuries and a fractured leg. Police say that the accident was the result of an object being stretched across the roadway. The cyclist had observed the object, which consisted of cellophane tape or plastic wrap, and attempted to take evasive action. Several incidents of similar activites have been reported, however this is the first incident to involve injuries or damage as the other objects were struck by cars. Police say these incidents are occuring in the 600-6300 block of Oakland as well as Angling Road. Police say that the nature of the objects obstructing the road could startle a driver and cause them to take evasive action, which could lead to further accidents. Portage Police are asking anyone with information about these incidents to call the Portage Police Department at 329-4567 or Silent Observer at 343-2100.

This reminds me of an accident I had recently involving a church and a wire.

In Portage... that is a little close to home. I think i would end up shooting someone over that. Equal force I believe!
