Asheville/Lake Lure

Erik and I will be in the area this coming weekend for our anniversary. Anyone nearby that we can maybe hook up with?

I'm thinking maybe Friday night. I figure he and I will do something "special" on Saturday and we have to return (or start to return) home on Sunday.

Or if anyone is along the way... I think our route will be 77 to 40 to 64, we can maybe make a pit stop depending on time.

Hey I'm in Asheville

And I was just in Lake Lure both sat and sun too (see pics in member mugs). I'm down for a meetup friday night... there's tons of places to eat downtown, pretty much anything you want you'll find it there. Shoot me a PM with some contact info if you want to meet up and I'll give you a ring

Lake Lure is only 20 minutes from me. You two bringing the bikes down with you? I'll check with the wife to see what's going on Friday if anything.

I thought you were. Will send PM at some point today. We are staying at a cabin on Lake Lure, but will be in Asheville on Saturday. We are touring Biltmore and at some point Chimney Rock.

No bikes. We aren't staying long enough for that and we have other things on our agenda (see above).

That would be great if we could all (tached, thirdgen, and anyone else close by) do dinner on Friday evening!

I rode to work today too, it's my 4th day of riding

Got home about 11:45 tonight... was a LOOONNNGGGG trip home.

Glad you guys, thirdgen and tached, came up to Lake Lure for supper Friday night. It was nice to meet you both, along with tached's wife and son.

I have pictures to post up tomorrow.
