Joe Dono aka JAPworks scammer
This thread has been sweeping the net.
http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/ge...a-scammer.html Quick quide: 20 year old kid takes Celica to a ricer shop that is doing poorly. Tells them to do all this fancy stuff like painting and carbon fiber to it and gives them a little money and tells them his grandfather will pay for it after the work is done because he is old school. Car shop because it is in desperate need for money does the work and of course stupid kid scams them. He tries to steal the car and then uses his mom and girlfriend to get the car back with no success. Turns out he doesn't even own the car, his mom owns the car and it has a huge loan on it. Kid gets the police involved and shop gets the florida state attorney involved. Internet thread becomes a sensation and everyone is saying poor local business and donating to it. Personally, I think the shop is a joke. You fall for that shit because you are losing money... Morons. They need to hire a new shop owner with the extra attention and donations they are getting from the net and maybe they won't fall for something as moronic as a 20 year old ricer. Both parties are idiots.

I think I saw that same thread. I actually saw that same type of thing work on my other forum. They helped the dude out with keeping his bike, but he was actually a longtime member that was known personally by a few other members.
