I'm replacing my 12-13 year old Rocky Mountain:

With a new Rocky Mountain:

It shipped yesterday!

When the dust settles, I'll part out the old bike.

First, I have to tear it apart and clean up the parts. I'm going to give my sister first dibs on a few things, and a friend of mine might want some stuff.

Cranks are 175mm Race Face

Bottom Bracket is Race Face

Forks are Marzocchi Bomber Z-1, 100mm travel, 1 1/8" steer tube, I left extra tube on there to give you some slack fitting other bikes

Brakes are XTR

Derailleurs are XT, 3x8 speed

Of all of that stuff, there's a pretty good chance my sister will want the forks. Hers are cheap and leaking.

I'm interested in all of it, though I don't need the cranks... they'd just look cool on my bike. And if it's for me, you don't have to clean up shit... If you do, it'll be the last time it gets cleaned... well, other than the spinny bits.

Dang... the forks are what I need most... though I'd actually prefer rigid.

Well, if you want some of it, I can skip the cleaning to get them to you faster. I have no problem with that. I'll send you some closeup pics first so you don't get something you don't expect.

I'm not tearing it apart until the new bike arrives, it'll probably be a week, minimum.

Damn, I haven't seen Spin rims since my BMX days well I guess about 12-15 years ago.

The Spin wheels are still going strong! I have put them through hell and back; they're TOUGH. The only thing I've ever had to do with them is replace the rear bearings once.
