What aerospace engineers do after they retire????

Homemade B-29 bomber.

This aircraft runs on four Chainsaw motors.

You can just imagine how much time, effort, skill and money these guys
have put into this thing.

I LOVE it!

I like how with the engines at full song, it even sounded like a little B-29.

I'm not so sure about the B-29's inverted flight capabilities though.

went to a model airplane reenactment when I was younger outside of the Oshkosh airplane show - its quite impressive if you've never seen how lifelike and agile these little planes are.

RE: the helicopter deal - some people were really into those here at work... I thought it was cool until someone took his uber expensive copter out and crashed it into the side of the building at work - destroying the RC and denting his wallet. High-dollar hobby.

Yeah, thats why I don't fly expensive copters anymore. Too expensive and breaks too much. I just fly a small coaxial indoor electric now. Got it for under 100. It's not 3d, but it's fun to fly inside and pretty cheap to replace parts.
