Meh, the way cops have been acting lately, I can't say I didn't find a little joy in that.
If they ever wanna return to that old long-lost chestnut of "protect and serve", maybe I can find a little compassion in my heart again. Right now, I can't help but feel that they are any less than predominantly "the enemy", and are not there to protect fucking anybody, anymore. They need to do some house cleaning, and get rid of the bullies. By protecting them, as they have, behind that thin blue line, they've made their own beds, and now must dodge the resultant bullets while lying in them. Running way low on compassion for LEOs right now...and I feel deservedly so...

It's unfortunate that he either couldn't, or chose not to, draw his weapon and shoot that dumb fucker right between the eyes....done society a favor by ridding us of this kids stupidity and poor judgement permanently.

Hmmmm; "Investigators believe they have the motorcyclists' registration information, Pratt said, and they are searching for the two people."....
Something tells me that I hope those clowns enjoyed themselves, because once the state prosecutor gets a hold of them, things might not be so funny. Like, I don't know what things are like there, but Maryland has "Wonton Disregard" clauses in a few of it's traffic laws....I know a motorcyclist here was convicted of manslaughter in the death of a trooper chasing him a few years ago. I would imagine that it wouldn't be a hard sell to a jury to up the ante to some serious felony fleeing charges for those two. Specially if a dashcam caught the taunting parts on audio. Even if you win, it's gonna be expensive....real expensive..... Nothin like a perp walk and a night in the clink to give you some stories at the bar....

Are you a cop? That would explain that.
Otherwise, I can't understand why, in light of the recent non-stop parade of "cops behaving badly", that you would find fault with my feeling the need to chuckle just a little at the irony.

That's just insane.
This is the kinda crap the extremists latch onto to "protect us from ourselves" and try to get laws passed against us. I can't help but think of my cop buddies how they're just people..I mean c'mon guys....think of Todd... most of you guys know HIM.....is HE the enemy?
