That which keeps me sane.
The pause that refreshes...aka; Happiness is a long driveway.
The tiny bite-sized: Mobile size For those with a sub, who would prefer to hear the basso profundo of the LT1 better, the chunky: Vid.

...And yes, I know my reverse lights are out, and indeed, that's me coughing up tire smoke at the end, if you listen carefully.
Mmm. Tire smoke and two stroke oil. Sure it's bad, but it's so good for the soul...

I keep my snowmobile coat in the mud room for no other reason than the fact that it makes the room smell like 2-stroke engine fumes.

Actually, it pulls until about 5500...which to me seems comparitively early, because the SB I built for the Chevelle used a solid bumpstick in its first incarnation, and I used to wind it to and past 7000 routinely. It was always hard keeping in tune well enough to pull all the way to 7 grand in 4th gear...but when it was ON....silly.
This things gets up without getting windey...there's 6 gears. No waiting.

Nah, this is the "new" small block. The coolant goes the other way, uses glycol. It's a nice package. I wish it wound out to 6500, had a bit less cowl shake, and the ASR was set just about 10% looser to allow a little more fun before mommy takes the throttle away (there is a defeat)...but other than that, it's a pretty well behaved animal.
